SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE 15th DECEMBER
Oral presentations will last 15 minutes and will be presented in thematic sessions. Authors will be informed in advance of the session reference number and schedule. All accepted papers will be presented in person (in the case of co-authorship, only one of the authors will be allowed on stage). If any author is unavailable on the assigned dates, please contact the forum via email
Posters will be displayed throughout the forum days. They will offer their authors the opportunity to present their work directly to small groups or individually. Each author will be responsible for printing his/her poster and placing it in the designated area. The posters will adhere to the official A0 size poster template and will include the forum logo, author name(s), title, affiliation, country, and a brief description of the content.
- Abstracts must be written and presented in ENGLISH, the official language of the forum
- All abstacts should be wirthin any of the topic areas listed
- Each author may submit two papers maximum
- All authors’ names, affiliations and email addresses shall be provided
- Abstracts will not exceed 300 characters (two graphics and 5 references maximum)
- Authors must indicate their presentation preference: oral or poster. The forum committee reserves the right to decide the final form of presentation.
- The scientific committee will select the abstracts based on criteria of relevance and interest in line with the specific topics of the forum and the quality of the proposals
- A confirmation as well as a copyright and publication agreement will be sent to all authors of the selected abstracts to ensure the terms of use and acknowledgement.
- Applications and solutions based on LEO constellations of small satellites or nanosatellites
- CubeSat missions, present and future of the standard
- Deep space missions and scientific missions based on small satellite and nanosatellite platforms
- Electrical propulsion systems for small satellites and nanosatellites
- In orbit demonstration and validation of technologies using small satellites platforms
- Launchers and new access to space
- Market and future vision of small satellite platforms
- Space Debris Mitigation
- Telecommunications and ground segment solutions for small satellite platforms
- Papers with no completion of the “copyright and agreement” included in CFP abstract template, will be not considered
- Papers published or presented elsewhere will be not accepted
- In no case will an author be allowed to present a paper if it has not been submitted properly formatted in advanced via email by the deadline
- Marketing material or sales pitches will be not accepted
- No paper updates or changes will be admitted after the final paper submission deadline or during the forum
- Final paper presentations must be submitted electronically in MS Word and/or PDF format
- Only the use of the forum audiovisual equipment will be allowed in order to prevent delays in presentations’ flow
- Oral presentations and posters will be available on SSSIF’s website (protected by password and only for attendees)
